Baturepike was born in 2016 with a simple idea: bring the contagious energy of Brazilian batucada, but executed with the discipline, care and heart only a Puerto Rican team can deliver. Nine years later, that DNA is still intact.
From passion to infrastructure. Without losing the soul.
We started as a small group playing at festivals and community events. What began as taking drums to the streets became, event after event, one of the most requested musical acts in Puerto Rico for premium weddings and corporate events.
But rhythm alone doesn't build reputation. What builds it is showing up early every time, performing with the same intensity for 30 guests or 5,000, and making the bride cry (with joy), the CEO hug you at the end, the quinceañera's dad say "worth every penny."
That's why we've spent the last few years investing in what isn't visible: digital contracts, pre-event WhatsApp coordination, hand-built LED instruments, coordinated wardrobe, weekly rehearsals, and a quality system that makes show #2,500 as good as show #1.

Today we are the flagship musical division of D'Show Events LLC, with presence in Puerto Rico and operations in mainland USA for destination weddings. And we still measure success by one metric: how many clients refer us to their friends. Spoiler: 9 out of 10.
